Who am I?
My website address is: https://www.elmorido.com.
I am a freelance digital animator, business administrator and proffesor. For marketing reasons, I constantly adress the services of this page as “we/us”, even when I do them myself. If any help or collaboration is provided in any of my services, those collaborators do not make integral part of “ElMorido.Com” and should always be considered as different entities.

Who we share your data with

When you register to participate in one of our events, we keep your name and email to send you confirmation emails, marketing emails or other information that may be of your interest. For this purpose we use an external service: Mailchimp.com. The Mail Chimp Legal Policies are available here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/.
When registering for classes we keep your name and email to send you confirmation emails, marketing emails or other information that may be of your interest. If you decided to share them, we also keep your phone number and the information shared via the “Notes” section of our contact form.
We will never share your name or email address unless explicitly stated.
One of our sponsors is a travel agency specialised in work and study travels. They have acces to our Whatsapp group and thus, to the names and phone numbers of the people who voluntarily decided to join the group. Nevertheless, the agency will never contact you without you directly and explicitly requesting it. The agency may promote their own events in the group; we are not responsible for the administration of those. Please refer to the agency’s staff to know more about their Privacy Policy.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
For the Whatsapp group, the data is retained as long as the participants are part of the group. Once they leave, their phone number is deleted.
For the rest of our services, we will retain data for up to 2 years after the last active participation of each person.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, or have requested services or participation in events, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Whatsapp numbers are kept only in the group. Some exceptions may apply when participants request private information. In such cases, their number and name is stored locally as new contacts on the phone.
For email marketing, the information is kept in the Mail Chimp servers.
The rest of the information is stored in the databases of this website.
